Welcome to Solstice Farm: Serving Sustainable Foods to Northeast Iowa

Located in Waverly, Iowa, Solstice Farm is a small, diversified farm specializing in pasture-raised poultry & eggs and mushroom cultivation since 2017. We are committed to raising healthy and delicious food for our community while respecting the environment and the animals we raise. Our farming practices aim to minimize fossil fuel and chemical inputs and to maximize healthy outputs. Find our products in the community or use our online store!

Our animals are rotated on pasture to provide them with optimal foraging conditions and restore the health of the land. In addition to the food that they find on pasture, they are fed locally grown and milled non-GMO rations. We grow our fruit and mushrooms with holistic methods and without any chemical sprays or fertilizers. We retain natural areas on our farm to provide habitat for native wildlife and encourage biodiversity. Our farm and home are powered by a solar photovoltaic system to offset the electricity that we use with clean, renewable energy.

In 2023, we opened a new business, Paha Cider! Visit our Paha Cider website for more information about our delicious hard ciders made from whole fruit.
